As a Locum MD or DO in Urology, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from diagnosing and treating urological conditions to performing surgeries and providing post-operative care. Responsibilities- Conduct urological examinations and assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with urological conditions.
- Perform urological surgeries as needed.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of Urology.
- Provide guidance and support to medical staff and colleagues.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Urology.
- Valid state medical license.
- Proven experience working in Urology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
Schedule:
Weekend call (Thursday 5p-Monday 4p), 1 weekend per month
Daily Volume: 10+ consults
Weekend Volume: 18-36 patients to round on, some procedures
Basic urological procedures required
Must be comfortable working independently
EMR:
Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
