Detail oriented, able to multi‑task and customer service skills are a must!
EssentialJob Functions
- Listen and address needs of patients as evidenced by company standards and policies.
- Answer the phones, and communicate patient’s needs to the Opticians and Optical Technicians.
- Efficiently take orders for contact lenses, create contact lens encounters and order lenses from ABB or other supplier.
- Navigate insurance websites to assist patients with the available benefits and cost associated with their plan.
- Sell and create encounters for accessories.
- Learn the lensometer.
- Oversee Frame Inventory.
- Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to multi‑task, work in a fast‑paced environment and manage time accordingly in order to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.
- This is a full‑time position based in Murrells Inlet, SC.
- Full‑time position with days and hours Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.
- Travel to other locations as necessary.
- A high school graduate or equivalent (required)
- Excellent communication and listening skills in order to properly address patient needs (required)
- Customer Service or service‑related experience is a plus (required)
- US Eye will train the candidate and this would be a great entry‑level position to develop a career in Opticianry.
