An Optical Technician with US Eye is an exciting opportunity to learn on the job in an industry that combines the love of retail and medical devices. Detail oriented, able to multi‑task and customer service skills are a must!

• Listen and address needs of patients as evidenced by company standards and policies.
• Answer the phones, and communicate patient’s needs to the Opticians and Optical Technicians.
• Efficiently take orders for contact lenses, create contact lens encounters and order lenses from ABB or other supplier.
• Navigate insurance websites to assist patients with the available benefits and cost associated with their plan.
• Sell and create encounters for accessories.
• Learn the lensometer.
• Oversee Frame Inventory.

• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to multi‑task, work in a fast‑paced environment and manage time accordingly in order to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.

• This is a full‑time position based in Murrells Inlet, SC.
• Full‑time position with days and hours Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.
• Travel to other locations as necessary.

• A high school graduate or equivalent (required)
• Excellent communication and listening skills in order to properly address patient needs (required)
• Customer Service or service‑related experience is a plus (required)
• US Eye will train the candidate and this would be a great entry‑level position to develop a career in Opticianry.
