Associate Director of the Faculty-Led Living-Learning Community (FL-LLC) Programs

Primary Duties- Provide leadership to the FL-LLC Program, ensuring alignment with institutional goals for retention, engagement, and academic success.
- Supervise and evaluate program staff, including coordinators and administrative support personnel; serve as administrator for Program Leads with dotted‑line coordination of Faculty Directors.
- Manage daily operations of the FL-LLC program, including procurement, human resources, student hiring, and housing assignments in coordination with Shared Services.
- Lead faculty recruitment efforts for the LLC Faculty Associate Program and coordinate linked coursework, attributes, and logistics with campus partners.
- Design and implement comprehensive training and onboarding for new Faculty Directors and Program Leads.
- Serve as primary liaison to campus partners such as University Housing, Admissions, Education Abroad, and the Center for Integrative and Experiential Learning.
- Strategic Leadership & Supervision: Provide leadership, facilitate performance planning, and lead regular leadership meetings.
- Administrative & Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, housing assignments, collaborations with campus partners, and maintain the FL-LLC Microsoft Teams platform.
- Training & Development: Develop and update training materials, coordinate professional development workshops, and facilitate training on university systems.
- Assessment & Reporting: Lead development of annual assessment reports, maintain data dashboards, and collaborate with the Director of Assessment.
- Campus Partnerships & External Relations: Advocate for the FL-LLC program, represent it in university communications, and participate in external conferences.
- Marketing & Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the Office of Communications to highlight student success stories and oversee digital storytelling efforts.
- Special Projects & Other Duties: Contribute to divisional initiatives and represent the division on institutional committees.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 or more years of job‑related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
- Master’s degree in higher education or related field.
- Seven years of full‑time experience.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, program development, team leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Experience and understanding of student learning and living‑learning programs (LLC).
- Understanding of university housing operations and familiarity with People Soft, Star Rez, Garnet Gate, and Blackboard.
- Strong understanding of assessment methodologies and data‑informed decision‑making.
- Experience developing collaborative relationships with faculty and administrative stakeholders.
- Proficiency in content creation and promotion through institutional and social media platforms.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of student development theory and the integration of academic and residential experiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with faculty and senior administrators.
- Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence and the promotion of equitable learning environments.
