Epworth Children’s Home seeks a capable individual to provide academic assistance in the area of mathematics. The tutor will help middle and high school aged residents achieve academic success by providing additional support to their public school education. They will work with individuals and small groups to provide assistance in improving academic achievement as well as provide support to prepare residents for post-secondary education.
Candidate must be able to relate to students while maintaining boundaries and confidentiality. Must be able to work independently and effectively without constant direct supervision. Has a belief system and engages win faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
This is a part time position and is limited to the Richland School District One school year. Tutor will be needed 6-8 hours a week between the hours of 3:45 and 6:00 Monday – Thursday.
