The Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina seeks applications for a 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track visiting assistant professor position in Public Administration to begin August 16, 2022. The salary for this position is $65,000. This appointment is renewable for a second year based on the dean’s approval, satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and the availability of funding.

A Ph.D. in Public Administration, Political Science, or a closely related field of study is required by the start date of appointment. Exceptions may be made for those who have successfully defended their dissertation prospectus and are actively working on completing their dissertation.
