About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our Early Head Start program. This role focuses on providing high-quality care and education for young children aged 8 weeks to 3 years, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Programming:

  • Plan and implement daily learning activities that foster development
  • Conduct assessments and share progress with families

Classroom Management:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
  • Ensure daily routines and activities are developmentally appropriate

Family Engagement:

  • Strengthen parent-child relationships through regular communication
  • Encourage family participation in learning and community activities
Qualifications
  • Required:

    Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
  • Preferred:
    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Experience as an Infant/Toddler Teacher (Creative Curriculum experience is a plus!)
  • Valid Adult/Pediatric CPR/FA/AED Certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, kneel, bend, and sit on the floor
  • Ability to manage family crises and maintain professional boundaries
  • Familiarity with Pro Care, Child Plus, Teaching Strategies, ASQ Online, HELP, and HSELOF databases (preferred)
