About this Position:
Job Title:
GIS Analyst
- Produce digital/hard copy maps in advanced GIS/Mapping applications.
- Perform GIS data collection, maintenance and analysis.
- Update database tables to reflect changes to the GIS features used in GIS analysis and in mapping as assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform quality control on the new and existing data to maintain correctness and spatial accuracy standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of procedure manuals.
- Completes software/procedures research/testing as assigned by the manager.
- Performs related tasks as assigned by the manager.
- Knowledge and experience working with GIS/Mapping software and applications, Experience working with a spatial database, Microsoft Office, experience with cartography, experience with database design.
Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with ArcGIS Pro, experience with a SQL database, Experience with ArcGIS roads and highways extension.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, Preferred field of study includes Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or Physical Science.
