Primary Responsibilities for the Process Engineer - Roll Mill

Under general supervision, develops and modifies process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards.

Recommends and implements improvements, modifications, or additions, documenting work; tests and resolves problems.

Reviews product requirements with product development to ensure processing methods are compatible, considering costs and schedules.

Leads analysis of key process measures, identifies major issues and root causes, and implements effective solutions.

Leads the development and implementation of plans, actions, and measurements to achieve goals.

Develops and executes strategies for health, safety, and environmental compliance, understanding regulatory impacts.

Provides expertise, input, and guidance to cross-functional teams, supporting sound problem solving.

Reviews proposals from outside vendors regarding purchase or modernization of production/processing equipment.

Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements for the Process Engineer - Roll Mill

Preferably holds a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Material Science, Metallurgy, or related disciplines.

Minimum of three years' experience in an engineering support role.

Practical understanding of engineering principles, standards, methods, and practices.

Proficient in MS Office suite.

Strong organizational and decision-making skills to manage workflow effectively.

Proficiency in Solid Works or similar 3D CAD software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.

Education

Four-year college degree in an engineering discipline is required.
