Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and complete hydrogeological project evaluations and feasibility reviews for land application and groundwater monitoring sites
  • Provide written review comments and recommendations for groundwater monitoring project plans and specifications
  • Maintain groundwater data collection and storage systems, ensuring accurate project tracking
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding project statuses and outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with public and industry representatives, coordinating with appropriate personnel
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in hydrology, geology, or geological engineering with one (1) year of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with two (2) years of related experience
  • Completion of ePermitting Power User training and expertise with ePermitting or an equivalent electronic government permitting application
  • Strong knowledge of groundwater hydrogeology, geochemistry, and contaminant transport techniques
  • Experience with federal and state groundwater and wastewater permitting and compliance requirements
  • Ability to interpret and apply environmental rules and regulations effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience performing hydrogeological reviews and evaluations for land application and groundwater monitoring sites
  • Extensive experience managing databases and using geospatial software
  • Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering multiple concurrent projects successfully
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work effectively with diverse groups
