• Proven experience in non‑equity financing for CAPEX and/or project financing, with the ability to engage directly with banks, project financiers, and funding partners

• Strong track record in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

• Strategic thinker with the ability to design and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s growth vision

• Comfortable taking a hands‑on Fin Ops role initially, setting up systems and processes before scaling the finance function and building a team

• Skilled in stakeholder management, with effectiveness in collaborating across teams and engaging diverse financiers, advisors, and partners

• Energetic and positive approach to Finance & Strategy, seeing them as enablers of growth rather than back‑office functions

• Entrepreneurial mindset, with adaptability to the fast‑moving, dynamic nature of the green tech/startup environment

• Several years of experience in financial management, investment banking, project financing, or strategic consulting, ideally complemented by leadership experience in a senior role.

• Fluency in spoken and written English and German

You will be responsible for a finance function that can handle growth – and we promise, this will be big and impactful. You will provide us with strategic foresight on all things finance and cash management ensuring smooth operations.

• Drive non‑equity financing efforts, securing CAPEX funding and project financing, and building strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and grant providers

• Shape and steer our financial vision, designing strategies that meet today’s needs while positioning us for long‑term growth

• Head financial operations across the company, from budgeting, forecasting, and cash management to analysis and accounting – while being hands‑on in the early stages to establish solid foundation

• Act as the lead partner to the CEO and leadership team on financial strategy, while also preparing insightful reports for the advisory board

• Provide oversight of budgeting and performance management, creating transparency through effective reporting tools, KPIs, and dashboards

• Guide process improvements and operational efficiency projects, leveraging financial data and insights to support decision‑making

• Ensure compliance and governance by overseeing the control environment, audits, and tax matters in collaboration with external advisors
