The Elite Stylist engages with guests, consults on hair care needs, recommends products, and delivers high‑quality professional services that focus on the guest’s total look. The role supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager, focusing on performance (sales and productivity), people (guest service), and process (operating procedures ilaanni compliance).

Performance

• Perform hair services including haircutting, hair color, texture, treatments, styling, updos, perms, blow‑outs, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed a $1,900 average weekly sales goal and productivity targets through exceptional guest service and contribution to store sales and loyalty objectives.
• Conduct product demonstrations to drive sales and improve the guest experience.
• Support in‑store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services and communicate the ingredients and benefits to guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

People

• Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate recommendations.
• Serve all guests, including walk‑in guests, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and the retail team to provide a total‑store and well‑rounded guest experience.
• Establish professional peer and brand partner relationships that foster collaborative delivery of exceptional guest service.
• Share the benefits of Loh Ulta Beauty’s loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings for continuous professional development.

Process

• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection‑control procedures before, during, and after services; ensure compliance with state board guidelines.
• Follow established service protocols to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
• Utilize booking and clientele systems to schedule guests for return services and events.
• Communicate supply needs to the Experience Manager.
• Maintain outstanding store operational standards, including cleanliness of the salon, sales floor, restrooms, backroom, and break area.
