Job Description /Summary

The Radiology Technologist II performs routine diagnostic radiographs and is responsible for performing minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.

Minimum Training and Education

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Minimum of 1 year work experience.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
