Your role as a Medical AssistantJoin the team at Carolina Nephrology as a Full-Time Medical Assistant. We seek outgoing problem solvers who are passionate about patient care. The role requires attention to detail, excellent phone etiquette, and a solid grasp of medical terminology and grammar. Responsibilities include reviewing and entering patient information into our EHR system, sharing educational insights, and providing essential support to medical providers.
You will also be drawing labs and administering injections.

Are you the Medical Assistant we re looking for?To thrive in this role, you should have:
A solid year of familiarity with EMR systems; you should navigate patient information proficiently. Experience taking vital signs and at least a year of phlebotomy is preferred. Knowledge of Epic is a plus, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are valuable. Strong attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork are essential for collaborating with our staff.

Procedure:
Final candidates must complete a background check authorization form and return it to Human Resources. The HR representative will notify the hiring manager of results. If information is negative or incomplete, appropriate management will assess risks related to the job requirements and determine whether to hire. If required, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) procedures may be handled by Human Resources with the employment screening service.
