Overview
Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director, Assistant Director, and Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, prepares and dispenses medication and drug information in accordance with pharmacy laws/regulations and Hospital/Department policies to ensure appropriate drug therapy as it relates to a specific patient. This includes the assessment and interpretation of age-specific data where necessary. Follows Providence Hospitals' Mission, Vision, and Values.

- Prepare and dispense medication and drug information in accordance with pharmacy laws/regulations and Hospital/Department policies.
- Assess and interpret age-specific data as necessary to ensure appropriate drug therapy for patients.
- Follow Providence Hospitals' Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Education: BS degree in pharmacy from accredited school.
- Licesure/Certification: Active licensure by SC Board of Pharmacy.
- Professional
Experience:
One or more years’ experience in hospital pharmacy or as hospital pharmacy student desired. Internal training/orientation of 8 weeks minimum.
