Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Patient ratio of 1:4

• Every other weekend coverage required

• No on-call responsibilities

• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs

• 2 years of experience required

• First time travelers accepted

• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS

• Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC, NRP

• Epic experience preferred

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Provide emergency care in rural setting with diverse emergent care needs

• Higher acuity patients are transferred to appropriate facilities

• Royal blue scrubs required

• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

This healthcare facility operates a 13-bed emergency department providing comprehensive emergency services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The emergency department is equipped to handle diverse emergent care needs in a rural healthcare setting, with protocols in place to transfer higher acuity patients when specialized care is required.

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
