Responsibilities
  • Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
  • Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
  • Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation.
  • Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • New graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
