Embark on a rewarding journey supporting students growth and mobility as a Physical Therapist working with K-12 learners in a dynamic school environment. This contract position will have you collaborating across multiple campuses, all within an easy commute, providing essential therapeutic support to help students thrive academically and physically.
Youll enjoy a varied caseload and the opportunity to make a difference each day, working closely with educators, families, and other specialists. Your expertise will help ensure every child receives the care and interventions needed for success throughout the remainder of the school year and beyond, through June 2027.
Qualifications andExperience:
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of South Carolina
- Experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule, serving one site per day across several schools in close proximity
- Adaptability and a collaborative spirit
- Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy interventions to support mobility, motor skills, and access to the learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to monitor and evaluate each students progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Travel between assigned schools in a manageable local radius, serving one school daily
- Full-time, 37.5-hour workweek in a school-based setting
