The Clinical Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of the non-physician clinical staff at an MUSC ER & Urgent Care a satellite department of the MUSC Columbia Downtown hospital ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). Our hybrid ER/Urgent Care model allows us to courtesy bill low acuity patients at urgent care rates. The Clinical Manager works in concurrence with the Program Director and Hospital Partner to provide patients with great customer service through sound clinical practices and efficient operations.

As a leader, the Clinical Manager is expected to provide an environment that encourages teamwork, continuous improvement, and is patient centric.

• RN license
• At least 5 years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department or at a Freestanding Emergency Room
• 2 years of formal or informal nursing leadership experience

Manage and support non-physician clinical staff in collaboration with the Program Director, Medical Director, Hospital, and Intuitive leadership, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, mentoring, evaluations, and performance management.
