Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT)

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, Saturday through Monday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• No on-call requirements

• Block scheduling type

• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (R), SCRQSA (CT)

• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency

• Scrub color:
Black and/or Teal

• Charting system:
Epic (required);
Sectra for PACS

• Free parking with pass distributed at start

• Equipment includes one Siemens CT scanner, two Shimadzu portable X-ray machines, and one GE X-ray room with Sectra PACS system

• Perform ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging exams

• Must be able to produce high-quality special imaging with minimal supervision

• Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census of approximately 40 patients

• Key skills include: CT abdomen/chest/pelvis with and without contrast, multiplanar reconstruction, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and preparation and administration of contrast media

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams, with peak activity in August and September

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a 75-bed facility offering a broad range of imaging services including emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient exams. The radiology department is supported by modern imaging equipment and an interdisciplinary team environment. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and Sectra for its PACS system, providing a technologically advanced setting for imaging professionals.
