Human Resources Administrative Assistant
JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for Chief Operating Officer and Human Resources. Assist with pre-employment activities. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Maintain Human Resource records and compiles reports. Monitor renewal dates and files of external contracts/MOAs for the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of experience in Human Resources preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities. Must possess excellent communication skills in written and verbal form. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills resulting in the ability to interact with all levels of management and employees. Proficiency with various software programs. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, FBI, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry.
