Base pay range

$57.28/hr - $57.28/hr

Education Requirements (One of the following)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR
• 4 years of relevant job-related work experience OR
• Associate's degree in CS/IT (or related field) plus 2 years of relevant experience

Minimum Required Experience

• 8 years of technical IT experience, including:
  • Systems analysis
  • Network design
  • Programming or other job-related IT experience

Required Technologies & Skills

• Cloud Networking (AWS / Azure):
  • Azure Virtual Network (VNet)
  • AWS VPC
  • Route Tables
  • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • VPN Gateways
  • Load Balancers
• VPN Technologies:
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of cloud and hybrid VPN environments
• Monitoring & Security Tools:
  • AWS Cloud Watch
  • Azure Network Watcher
  • Solar Winds or similar tools
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  • Terraform
  • Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
• Agile experience

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cloud automation and scripting:
  • Python
  • Power Shell
  • Bash
• Ability to automate:
  • Network configurations
  • Monitoring and alerting
• Experience improving operational efficiency through automation

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud network performance and availability across AWS and Azure
• Design and configure cloud networking components:
  • Virtual networks
  • Subnets
  • VPNs
  • Load balancers
• Support secure and efficient hybrid cloud connectivity
• Troubleshoot network issues using:
  • Logs
  • Packet captures
  • Alerts
• Automate network provisioning using Terraform or ARM templates
• Enforce deployment consistency and compliance standards
• Develop and document technical standards and best practices
• Collaborate with:
  • Security teams
  • Dev Ops teams
  • Application teams
• Provide design recommendations for new cloud network architectures
• Evaluate emerging technologies to support long-term IT strategies
• Ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud network infrastructure
