The Cloud Solutions Engineer 2 Supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Cloud Solutions Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Cloud Solutions Engineer 2 Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements.

Also responsible for processing move/add/change requests pertaining to telephony systems. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions in alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business requirements.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate cloud services and technologies to meet evolving organizational needs.
• Implement automation for cloud resource provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to security, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to migrate existing workloads to the cloud and optimize post-migration performance.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to cloud architectures, operational processes, and policies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers and stakeholders, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Administer and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems, ensuring effective operations and vendor management.
• Process move/add/change requests pertaining to telephony systems.
• Apply understanding of department, segment, and organizational strategy to support alignment of telecommunications and cloud solutions with business goals.
• Make decisions regarding work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction and guidance when needed.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures for both cloud and telephony operations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Demonstrated experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and contact center as a software, Genesys preferred.
• Proficiency with cloud automation, orchestration, and configuration management tools.
• Technical knowledge of telecommunications equipment, systems, and vendor capabilities.
• Understanding of network, security, and identity management within cloud and telephony environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently, applying judgment in ambiguous situations, and adhering to organizational procedures.

• Experience with a JavaScript runtime or framework, such as Node.js or Express.js.
• Master's Degree
