Position: Sr Analyst System Testing I
Location: Columbia

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed.
  • Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities and operational workflows.
  • Perform quality checks across various IT functions to ensure that quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.
  • Lead application testing analysis (40% of time): develop test plans, cases, scenarios, and matrices; attend sessions with customers; plan and assign projects to team members; complete reports and develop processes.
  • Create test cases, execute testing, and document results (30% of time); define and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect counts, test results, and test status; lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with customers to understand and resolve technical issues; mentor and guide testing staff (30% of time).
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analysis skills.
  • Skill in testing data creation and manipulation.
  • Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.
  • Skill in negotiation and/or influencing business or technical partners.
  • Ability to write complex test cases/scripts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to document complex problems and assist in their resolution.
  • Ability to understand functional connections between applications.
  • Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job‑related degree; OR 4 years of job‑related work experience; OR 2 years of job‑related experience plus an associate’s degree.
  • 7 years of IT experience, including developing test plans and/or test matrices.

  • Share Point
  • Any Automation tools are nice to have.

Start Date:

12/22/2025
Estimated End Date: 11/27/2026
Hours Per Week: 40.00
Hours Per Day: 8.00

Partially Onsite – Remote Monday and Friday;
Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The team member may be requested to be onsite 100% as the business need dictates. Overtime as needed, travel between local buildings, weekends and off hours as needed.

Credit check required due to I/S role.

Team

VS (Validation Service) Claims and Data Analytics Team (We support testing of work efforts/projects for all LOBs). Immediate Team – approx. 12 people;
Testing Department 69 people. We are working on numerous projects related to claims processing, onboarding new plans to services, and managed care work.
