System Test Analyst

Overview

Seeking a Senior Test Analyst for a long term contract (minimum of 12 months) located in Columbia, SC. This position will be a hybrid opportunity with an onsite element 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and as needed).

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Project planning, organization, and management.
• Understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.
• Thorough understanding of systems migration processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skill in testing data creation and manipulation.
• Ability to understand functional connections between applications.
• Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.
• Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed.
• Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities.
• Track quality assurance metrics.

• 9 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.
• Knowledge of JAVA, Websphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms.
• Knowledge of DB2, SQL, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM.
• Skilled in whitebox testing, integration testing,
• Experience with Service Now Automated Test Framework (ATF).

• Experience testing Web applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
