Salary: $64, per year

• Bachelors degree required, or equivalent experience (6 years of relevant experience); a masters degree is preferred.
• At least 9 years of related IT experience and 2 years of corporate planning or strategic development experience; the experience may overlap. Preferred: 11 years of related IT experience and 4 years of corporate planning or strategic development experience.
• Hands-on experience in IBM z/OS storage environments and storage administration.
• Experience creating storage management utilization reports; initializing and configuring DASD; and performing DFSMSdss full-volume and logical-dataset dump and restore operations.
• Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS storage administration, SMS client routines, and ISMF.
• Experience coding and maintaining SMS client routines; translating, validating, and activating routines in ISMF; and defining and maintaining SMS constructs.
• Experience configuring and administering HSM and RMM, and monitoring SMS storage group utilization.
• Experience with Dino Software T-REX or UDM, Luminex Mainframe Virtual Tape (MVT), Luminex storage pools, the LSCRUP process, the Luminex GUI, IBM TDMF for z/OS, Dell EMC Power Max SRDF replication, or zEDC is beneficial.
• A credit check is required.

• Create and maintain storage management utilization reports.
• Support storage operations and troubleshoot related issues.
• Help improve and modernize the storage environment.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to support reliable day-to-day operations.

This is a contract-to-hire role in a typical office IT environment. Columbia, South Carolina, is strongly preferred, with State College, Pennsylvania, and Dallas, Texas, also listed as locations; fully remote candidates nationwide may be considered. We are hiring for an Operations team that supports daily technology operations and modernization initiatives. The immediate team has 3 members within a broader team of 26 and values technical strength, dependability, collaboration, operational stability, continuous improvement, and modernization of existing environments.
