Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster – Dillon, South Carolina
We are looking for an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster to join our team at Mile High Adjusters Houston in Dillon, South Carolina. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and competitive compensation with a focus on helping clients rebuild after disasters.
Position Details- Seniority: Entry level
- Employment type: Full-time
- Job function: Claims adjusting / customer service / disaster recovery
- Assist clients in assessing and documenting storm-related property damage.
- Evaluate insurance policies, determine coverage limits, and calculate settlement amounts.
- Conduct site inspections, interview policyholders, and gather evidence.
- Prepare investigative reports and present findings to insurance carriers.
- Collaborate with team members and provide training guidance to new adjusters.
- Licensed Claims Adjuster with at least 1 year of experience (preferred 100+ claims).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

- Legal knowledge of South Carolina insurance regulations.
