Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Columbia is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of experience in general litigation or judicial clerkship. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and writing skills.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff on case strategy and execution.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on litigation-related matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in general litigation or judicial clerkship.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in good standing.
