Litigation Paralegal

Overview

The Charleston Group is seeking a civil litigation paralegal. A Certified North Carolina paralegal with 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred. Applicant must have experience in various aspects of civil litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice and trial.

• Drafting and editing pleadings, basic legal documents and correspondence
• Maintaining case, court and attorney schedules in the firm's practice management software
• Coordinating meetings, hearings, depositions, etc.
• Managing office correspondence
• Attorney timekeeping
• Filing and other administrative duties as assigned, consistent with the role of a paralegal

• Certified North Carolina paralegal (5+ years of relevant civil litigation experience preferred)
• Experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice and trial
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

This role pays competitive compensation ($43,500 to $55,000 annually) plus excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and lie insurance; disability insurance (long and short term); 401k and profit-sharing.
