Shop Forman​/Dispatcher

Bell & BellGMC is seeking a dedicated and organized Shop Foreman/Dispatcher to join our team in Little River, SC. This role serves as a critical link between our service technicians, customers, and management to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Oversee day-to-day shop operations to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
• Dispatch technicians efficiently based on workload, skill set, and customer priorities.
• Coordinate with service advisors and parts department to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to meet Service Level Agreements and customer expectations.
• Maintain clear communication with all team members to resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations within the shop.
• Train and mentor shop staff to help them develop their skills and improve performance.
• Review and approve work orders and labor reports as necessary.
• Assist in tool inventory management and ordering of necessary parts or supplies.

• Proven experience as a Shop Foreman, Dispatcher, or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive service industry.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with automotive service processes and terminology.
• Proficient with scheduling and dispatch software is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
