Position Description AdvertisedJob Summary
Under minimal supervision, manages and coordinates projects for the School of Medicine’s South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Health Care. Works closely with the Center’s Directors to assure the execution of project plans, including establishing timelines and monitoring the achievement of milestones. Manages the development of new programs and initiatives, and also provides administrative support for the Center’s Directors. Must demonstrate a commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Education and Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous project management experience, from conception to delivery as well as experience in managing and coordinating programs.
- Experience in public health, program evaluation, or health care systems preferred.
- Strong experience in Microsoft package (to included Excel, Word, etc).
- Experience with computer-based documentation and communication.
- Ability to communicate effectively, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with local, state and federal agencies and associations.
