The Shipping Associate Lead will be responsible for the handling and storage of materials in appropriate locations. Associate will also pick/ship the customer orders. Paying close attention to detail is a must.
Responsibilities- Safe handling and transport of high value, oversized manufactured products using mobile equipment.
- Product put-up to appropriate inventory locations.
- Raw material cycle counts.
- Oversee incoming/outgoing WIP goods.
- Interaction with multiple organization levels as needed to support warehouse and distribution needs.
- Cross functional responsibilities to include receiving/inventory control and/or shipping to support the Warehouse/Logistics needs.
- Attitude – Maintains a positive demeanor while working under tight deadlines.
- Collaboration – Develops relationships across multiple business units.
- Organization/Work Management – Excellent ability to multitask and set priorities.
- Communication skills - Must be able to demonstrate professional oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with multiple organizational levels including management.
- Detail oriented – High attention to detail and with error free results is critical.
- 1 year Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse – cross functional/ multi-department experience desired for maximum flexibility within the materials department.
- Cycle count experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- Adherence to safety rules and regulations per company policy.
- Should be skilled in MS Office including Excel. Oracle experience desired.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
