Job Description PRIMARY PURPOSE
This position is responsible using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble components.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies
- Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol
- Make sure that schedules are being ran exactly as they are listed
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Turn off equipment when not in use
- Attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- Follow detailed assembly, teardown and test instructions, processes and procedures of pneumatic valves
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol
- Make sure that schedules are being ran exactly as they are listed
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Turn off equipment when not in use Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic mechanics
- Knowledge of machine testing procedures
- Specialized equipment used in this job
- Hand tools
Able to perform in 1 of the 3 departments:
Teardown, Assembly, Testing
Teardown
- Buffing, washing, and blowout station
- Adder Pay:
Disassemble components following standard operating procedures.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assembly
- Test various components per test code, following standard operating procedures.
- Adder Pay:
Operate break cylinder cell
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform the same task repeatedly
Continuous mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness to monitor the production process and/or identify defects to standards.
