Starting Hourly Pay: $30.50

• Operates and maintains manual lathe, surface grinder, and milling machine.
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
• Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
• Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
• Maintains inventory of completed products.
• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Proficient in precision measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
• Proficient in reading dimensional and assembly drawings.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Prefer 2-year college in mechanical maintenance or vocational machinist trade or apprenticeship in related field.
• Experience working with machine tools and mechanical assembly.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols.
