HTI is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing team for an automotive supplier in Duncan, SC
. This is a short-term contract role focused on maintaining safety, quality, and production efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 3 days per week (Monday–Friday)

Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour

HTI is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to support associates and maintain efficient manufacturing processes.

• Establish ownership of the processes through effective communication and implementation of PI-DUN goals and objectives with a focus on personnel planning, production planning, quality, safety, 5S, budget control, and continuous improvement.
• Emphasize performance by attaining all measurable deliverables related to training and development, efficiency, scrap reduction, PPM, First Time Yield, OEE, utilization, and safety.
• Plan and assign daily personnel according to production requirements.
• Ensure all associates are properly trained and understand job functions and quality specifications.
• Meet daily production and efficiency targets in alignment with plant performance goals.
• Monitor production activities and assist associates in processing and controlling work order tickets.
• Coordinate material availability and ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies to workstations.
• Assist in identifying and resolving quality issues; implement scrap and rework reduction initiatives.
• Verify that all error-proofing and red rabbit devices are functioning correctly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S and company safety standards.
• Ensure all safety incidents are reported and documented promptly.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training updates to production associates.
• Verify accuracy of work instructions, process checks, and equipment parameters per engineering standards.
• Track and report daily production results, including efficiency, scrap, OEE, and safety metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Engineering departments.
• Support and lead Continuous Improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role (automotive experience preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or leadership certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of production metrics, lean manufacturing principles, and 5S standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, train associates, and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
