Tooling Operator

Job Summary

Responsible for carrying out the physical or administrative tasks related to the manufacture of tubular structures within the moonshine workshop. Physical

Activities:

Preparation of raw material, cutting of tube, profile, acrylic, wood and mat, wood upholstery with mouse pad or ESD mat, acrylic folding, assembly of tubular or bosch profile structures, as well as storage, counting and distribution of materials. The administrative activities include analysis of the structure design to calculate required materials, requisition of raw material, record of quantity, cost and type of material used.

• Assembly and disassembly of work structures
• Classification and management of materials
• Movement of structures and/or materials
• Acrylic cutting and thermoforming
• Wood cutting and surface upholstery
• Assembly of monitors and installation of structures in production lines
• Assembly of structures for workstations
• Give some preventive/corrective maintenance in the workshop
• Interpretation of structures design
• Coordination of activities and work orders

• Operate under direct supervision of the Tooling Supervisor and collaborate closely with Tooling Technicians
• Perform material preparation, cutting and staging for builds in Creform Fabrication.
• Assemble carts, workstations and fixtures according to engineering drawings and work orders.
• Support inventory organization, tool checkout and basic tool maintenance.
