Converting Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Machine Operator Position Summary:

This position is responsible for operating a machine to ensure efficient equipment operation and production of high-quality products.

Shift: 3:00 pm
-1:30 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices
• Perform general set-up of machines
• Prepare materials for the production process
• Load and unload material from the machine
• Assist in monitoring the operation of the machine
• Track and label finished products manually and electronically
• Communicate effectively with helpers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issues
• Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams

Physical Requirements:

Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs., Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending, squatting, and varying temperatures

Education:
Minimum High School diploma or GED

Experience:
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
This role requires basic computer proficiencies, multi-task effectively, sharp attention to detail, a desire to work in a collaborative team atmosphere, and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
