Recruiting Solutions is currently hiring Quality Technician for a leading manufacturing company in the Orangeburg, SC area! This position offers a starting pay range between $15-17/hour, plus an attendance bonus of up to $600.00. Upon permanent hire, pay is increased based on performance. We currently have openings for our 12-hour day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), operating on a convenient 2x3 rotating schedule, giving you every other weekend off.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct set-up, in-process, final, and rework inspections and audits, documenting results accordingly.
- Complete required documentation in a concise, legible, organized, and timely manner.
- Follow quality procedures, control plans, and work instructions for inspection and testing.
- Verify product conformity to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
- Generate and process Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) and waivers for nonconforming materials.
- Perform layout inspections and initiate Lab Test Requests for external testing.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of relevant Quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting measurements and engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
- Familiarity with SAP and EtQ quality modules.
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and data analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
