Olsten Staffing is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Florence, SC! This position is ideal for candidates with previous experience operating a handheld remote-controlled overhead crane in a manufacturing, steel processing, or industrial environment.

• Operate a handheld remote-controlled overhead crane to transport steel materials throughout the facility.
• Safely move materials while following all company safety procedures and policies.
• Deliver materials accurately and efficiently to support production requirements.
• Verify material information and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently when needed while demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making skills.

• Previous overhead crane operating experience required
• Experience operating a remote-controlled overhead crane
• Manufacturing, steel processing, metal fabrication, or industrial experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Forklift experience required

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely work around moving equipment and production machinery

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
