Are you a dynamic manufacturing leader who knows how to step onto the plant floor, build morale, and drive accountability across multi-shift teams?
Our FTSE 100 client is looking for an Operations Manager to lead daily manufacturing execution at our primary plant in Blythewood, SC. We don't just need a plant manager we need a team builder who can act as a catalyst for change, driving Lean/OPEX practices while raising our standard of execution.
The Operations Manager Will:- Plant Execution: Lead machining, assembly, facilities, and maintenance operations (~45 FTEs) across a multi-shift setup.
- Drive Efficiency: Champion labor productivity, cost control, asset reliability, and Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline shop-floor execution.
- Culture & Disruption: Serve as an influential leader who injects urgency, accountability, and customer focus into daily operations.
- Safety & Sustainability: Partner with EHS to advance our safety culture and oversee energy reduction/sustainability initiatives.
- 7+ years leading complex manufacturing operations and multi-shift teams.
- Strong Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence (OPEX) experience.
- A leader comfortable working in environments that require building structure while managing daily execution.
- Growth: High-visibility role designed as a key successor for site leadership in a major global organisation.
- Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 Base + Performance Bonus + Full Benefits.
