We are looking for a talented  
** Maintenance Shift Lead - 3rd shift
** to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC.

+ Drive quality outcomes by applying high standards of workmanship, following all process documentation and quality procedures, and performing thorough quality inspections.

+ Improve equipment reliability and uptime by performing and documenting preventive, corrective, emergency, and predictive maintenance, and contributing feedback to the preventive maintenance system.

+ Support cost and quality performance by identifying issues early, raising concerns, and participating in downtime failure analysis and problem‑solving activities.

+ Achieve production and delivery goals through skilled execution of job responsibilities, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and completing housekeeping and equipment cleaning tasks.

+ Strengthen team capability by instructing and coaching others, serving as an informal resource to less‑experienced team members, and completing ongoing training and personal development.

+ Contribute to continuous improvement by working closely with peers, support teams, and TPM groups to reduce manufacturing constraints, improve processes, and enhance safety, quality, and material flow.

** Education/Experience*
* + High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

+ Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

** Core Responsibilities & Activities*
* + Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring effective resource allocation, timely resolution of operational issues, and achievement of departmental KPIs and performance targets.

+ Provide technical leadership, coaching, and direction to maintenance personnel, establishing clear expectations and accountability while promoting adherence to standard work practices, company values, and ethical standards.

+ Championing a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety procedures, identifying training and development opportunities, and reinforcing safe work behaviors across the team.
