Program Coordinator

Overview

SC UpLift Community Outreach’s mission is to help individuals and families improve their quality of life by providing safe, secure, and affordable housing. The VISTA Project seeks to deliver quality affordable housing for low‑to‑moderate income residents, employ social enterprise as a strategy for community and economic development, and integrate financial literacy training into existing life‑skills programs. In this role the Program Coordinator will contribute to the project’s goals by planning community engagement meetings, creating partnership and network development strategies, researching financial sustainability and growth opportunities, and managing marketing and program promotion.

• Train and engage volunteers in outreach activities.
• Facilitate community awareness and engagement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain partnerships and networks.
• Create and execute marketing and program promotion plans.
• Ensure compliance and report on program activities.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Experience in community organization, marketing, or communications preferred.
• Proficiency with computers/technology and general teamwork.
