Schedule:
Full-time 32–40 hours/week, includes every other weekend (7–10 hour shifts during clinic hours; schedules built in 6-week blocks)
Training:
Initial 3 weeks of training/orientation (must be able to attend with no planned time off)
Pay:$37.17/hr
Now hiring an experienced LVN/LPN Float Nurse for a fast-paced retail clinic environment. This LVN/LPN role is ideal for nurses with Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room experience who are comfortable with vaccines, point-of-care testing, and working independently while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. If you’re looking for a hands‑on LVN/LPN clinic role with variety (float coverage) and strong documentation standards.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and perform routine assessments and vital signs
- Administer medications (oral, injectable, IV, topical) per protocols
- Perform vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing (POCT)
- Document patient history, allergies, medications, and care provided in the EMR (Epic preferred)
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate concerns appropriately
- Support patient education, self‑care guidance, and care coordination resources
- Maintain a clean, organized, well‑stocked clinic environment
- Float to nearby clinic sites as needed and support safe, consistent patient care
- Active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license in the U.S. (license must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions)
- If using a compact license, it must be issued in your primary state of residence
- 1+ year clinical experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER (not just long‑term care)
- EMR experience required (Epic strongly preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and patient‑centered customer service skills
- Comfortable working some major holidays as needed
- Screenshot of LVN/LPN license
- Screenshot of BLS (expiration must be at least 30 days past start date)
- Completed screening questions (experience setting, EMR, schedule/float availability, training availability, and commute distance)
