American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN with at least 2 years of experience and required EP/Cath procedural skills for a rotating day-shift assignment at an acute care hospital.

• Work in the Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Rotating 4x10hr day shifts  and ), with shift blocks kept consistent week to week
• Weekend requirement tied to call rotation
• On-call required: one weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) per month plus one weekday call shift per week, subject to change based on staffing needs
• No floating between service lines or to sister facilities
• Uses Epic for charting

• Active SC RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• EP/Cath experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, and Impella insertion
• Skilled in circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Must provide own radiation badge (facility does not supply one to travelers)
• SSN required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac cath and EP lab setting within a 304-bed acute care hospital
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation medications as part of patient care
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates considered case-by-case at a reduced rate
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June–November)
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval based on unit needs
