American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, telemetry certification, and SC or compact RN license.

• 41-bed progressive care trauma/telemetry unit for adult surgical trauma patients
• Patient population includes those with gunshot wounds, penetrating injuries, assaults, motor vehicle crashes, and falls
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, flexing up to 1:5 as needed
• Telemetry monitoring available for up to 14 patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Team, PT, Respiratory, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Team, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary

• Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Telemetry certification required
• 2+ years of experience required for first-time travelers
• 1+ years of recent unit experience considered for experienced travelers
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Medication test required

• Provide nursing care to adult patients recovering from traumatic injuries requiring surgical intervention
• Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any Prisma Health facility to be eligible, except night shift PCU travelers who must be 50+ miles from the contracted campus
• Candidates 50-99.9 miles from the contracted campus may be eligible at a reduced bill rate
