Join Kiawah Partners as a Landscape Laborer. You will be responsible for the overall care and maintenance of lawns, shrubs, flowerbeds, walks, and gardens.

• Mowing and edging lawns and around flower beds, walks, and walls
• Mulching, aerating, weeding, and grubbing
• Planting seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs using gardening tools
• Decorating gardens with stones and plants
• Following planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers and foliage
• Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws
• Raking, mulching, and composting leaves
• Trimming and picking flowers, and cleaning flower beds
• Watering lawns, trees, and plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans
• Maintaining and repairing tools, equipment, and structures such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches using hand and power tools
• Providing proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features

• Ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs, and to sit, stand, kneel, and walk for long periods
• Comfortable working outdoors for long periods in varied weather conditions
• Experience with the regular use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge trimmers, and axes
• Some previous experience as a landscaper or horticulturalist is strongly preferred, but not required
• Experience operating powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin‑axle vehicles, leaf blowers, chain‑saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws is preferred
