Irrigation Technician

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the job duties as outlined below. Previous experience is required.

• Assist with irrigation system start‑up, maintenance, and winterization
• Diagnostics and repair to piping, irrigation heads, wiring, and satellite boxes
• Assist with golf course set‑up procedures
• Perform general landscape maintenance using hand‑held equipment
• Operate small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing
• Perform other duties as required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
• Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder.
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
