Seeking multiple Landscapers, including a Landscape Supervisor, temp-to-perm positions located downtown Charleston. These positions are with a state agency which gives you the opportunity to get your foot in the door to be hired directly and build a long-term career with great benefits! Schedule is Monday-Friday (no weekend work!).
Primary duties- under the direction of the Grounds Dept Manager will oversee a team of Landscapers while performing pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, pesticide application
- Safely operate power equipment:
Tractor, Hedge trimmers, zero turn mowers, aerator, string trimmers, edger, blower, pressure washer, etc. - Shrub and small tree pruning and trimming
- Pull and spray weeds
- Planting trees, shrubs and flowers
- Trash collection
- Pressure washing
- Other grounds maintenance tasks as needed
Compensation is based on experience.
