Position SummaryThe Quality Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement across production operations. This position supports daily manufacturing activities by monitoring quality standards, coordinating inspections and audits, addressing nonconformances, and partnering closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and a strong communicator with hands‑on manufacturing experience and a passion for quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily production operations to ensure adherence to quality, safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and perform quality inspections, checks and audits throughout the production process.
- Monitor quality performance indicators (defects, scrap, rework, customer complaints) and escalate concerns promptly.
- Document, track and follow up on nonconformances, corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Communicate quality expectations, standards and updates clearly to production teams.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering and supply chain to quickly resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports and shift documentation.
- Support root cause analysis efforts and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Assist with training employees on quality procedures, work instructions and best practices.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits as needed.
- Actively promote a safe work environment and compliance with company policies.
- Minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Experience in a quality, coordinator or informal leadership role strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with solid documentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods and manufacturing best practices.
- A quality‑driven professional who takes initiative and ownership.
