** Summary
* * This Sales Representative role will focus on the emerging group insurance offering ICHRA. This role is for a highly motivated individual who has the skills and desire to build and refine a newer customer offering. Job duties will include developing sales procedures, coordinating interactions with outside vendors, building relationships with agents, and managing sales reporting. Responsible for the successful marketing (sales, renewals, and/or service) of group accounts for products as defined by production quotas within assigned territory.

** This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229

* What You Will Do:
*** Develops and executes marketing plans for new sales and/or retention of existing accounts within assigned territory. Prepares and presents proposals and communications to groups, agents, and/or individuals.
* Develops and maintains professional relationships with groups, agents, and/or individuals. Assesses agency, agent, group, and/or individual sales opportunities and works with groups, agent, and/or individuals to resolve problem issues.
* Conducts on-going market research and provides key information that may lead to sales. Prepares and submits required marketing reports to management detailing how best to position company products.
* Maintains product/industry knowledge and marketing skills by attending trading seminars, continuing education classes, conferences, etc.
** To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:**
* ** Required Education**:
High School Diploma or equivalent
* ** Required Work Experience**: 1-year sales and marketing.

Ability to develop/maintain effective relationships with groups, agents, and potential customers. Knowledge of marketing principles, techniques, and the marketplace. Effective presentation and customer service skills. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

* ** Required License and Certificate**:
Department of Insurance Licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire in state employed.
