Territory Sales Manager – Columbia, SC
Pro‑Vac is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team within a defined geographic sales territory in Columbia. The successful candidate will develop a strategic growth plan, generate new accounts, and manage client relationships to expand the Pro‑Vac brand throughout South Carolina.
Responsibilities- Lead prospect discovery, bids, and cold calling with a focus on profitable growth.
- Provide estimates to prospects using pre‑defined proposals.
- Follow up on requests that have not closed and complete outbound calls to old customers.
- Leverage inbound and outbound marketing activities to work with leads.
- Identify opportunities for cross‑sell and upsell when handling initial prospect requests.
- Ensure leads requiring additional scoping are passed to field sellers.
- Experience in hydrovac, construction, ground protection, equipment rentals, dumpster and waste removal, utilities, or environmental services.
- Knowledge of selling services and specialty industrial equipment to contractors, engineers, and government/municipalities.
- Minimum of 5+ years progressively responsible management experience in building market share.
- 5+ years of Outside Sales experience.
- Previous experience in a quota‑driven sales environment with documented success.
- Knowledge of public and private bid processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field preferred.
- Increasing the quantity and quality of closed deals.
- Using innovation and skills to continuously improve sales and marketing activities.
- Educating contacts with insights and industry best practices.
- Leading and managing integrated sales teams.
- Base salary of $90–$100,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
- Commission/bonus based on collected revenue.
